Range Rover Classic LSE Autobiography Register
The Autobiography scheme was announced at the London Motorfair in October 1993. It was run by Land Rover Special Vehicles and was billed as a customising service that offered “the ultimate personalisation” for Range Rovers. No LHD models have so far been identified, although it is likely that some would have been built for the Middle East. Cars were re-painted by re-paint was entrusted to XK Engineering, Coventry and re-trimmed by Anderson and Ryan, Coventry.
Pilot models
Two pilot models were built, probably in mid-1993. One was on the standard 100inch wheelbase and the other was based on a 108inch LSE.

!00” Autobiography models
There were 26 examples of the Autobiography limited edition (25 for sale, plus one prototype), and all are believed to have been RHD models for the UK market. The 25 “production” examples were built on the lines in July 1994 but were completed by Land Rover Special Vehicles, and the last one was probably finished in November 1994. They were all standard-wheelbase models with MA (soft-dash) VINs, painted in British Racing Green and fitted with the 4.2-litre engine from the LSE. The “production” vehicles all appear to have been built under LRSV contract number 6674.
No LHD models have so far been identified, although it is likely that some would have been built for the Middle East.
